Uniformed and Patrol Services facilitate the most traditional and fundamental of law enforcement services, to include: Calls for service; Uniformed patrols; Traffic enforcement; Crash investigations; The arrest of criminal offenders and suspects. The components for the
furtherance of these objectives are assignments such as Patrolman, Patrol Watch Commanders and Supervisors, Communications Officers, Corrections Officers, and Narcotics Investigators. Supplementary, Uniformed and Patrol Services provide the department’s Honor Guard which serves as the Oxford Police Department’s formal uniformed representation.
