The Uniform Division provides Uniformed and Patrol Services. As the most traditional and fundamental of law enforcement services, they include the following: Calls for service; Uniformed patrols; Traffic enforcement; Crash investigations; and the arrest of criminal offenders and suspects. Primarily, assignments within the division are Patrolman, Patrol Watch Commander or Supervisor, Communications Officers, Corrections Officers, and Narcotics Investigators. Uniform Services also include the department’s Honor Guard, This unit serves as the Oxford Police Department’s formal uniformed representation.
