The primary mission of the Oxford Police Department’s Aviation Support Unit is to enhance the safety of officers, citizens, and visitors

by providing effective aerial support to the City of Oxford; and to enhance the effectiveness of federal, state and other local law

enforcement units by providing airborne surveillance, observation, and reporting of criminal activity; especially in times of emergency.
