The Citizen’s Police Academy was established to enhance the community’s awareness of our police department and to provide them with a better understanding of what we do as officers. The program will offer a fun and educational way to inform you, the citizen, of the challenges and rewards that our officers experience during their careers as police officers. The academy will take place one night per week for ten weeks. Upon graduation, graduates will have the opportunity to join the Oxford Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni Association. This is an organization that serves as an advisory board and liaison between the community and our department.
